Well, looks like it’s time to buy a Tercel and spraypaint it bright lemon yellow.

I miss fun Toyota ads. I always enjoyed when they jumped at the end.

A long time ago, in the Paleolithic Era, I used to make tv commercials at a local tv station. A lot of the time, we would be doing your standard hokey local tv commercials, but every now and then we’d get to make something that required us to use our creative minds and muscles, and we’d jump for joy to make something “good” . We were inspired by the national and regional commercials our station ran, they were so fucking good, there was a real art to them.
Now, it seems like anyone with a goddamn smartphone can make a shitty commercial, because they actually can, and there’s no thought to art or creativity.
Goddamn, I miss good commercials.
